This entire thing isn’t gonna hurt Aaliyah’s legacy. It’s just gonna show how every single adult in her life failed her

I don’t think it will hurt her legacy because

1. Aaliyah proved to be successful even without him. AFTER all that scandal transpired with R. Kelly, she found Missy Elliott & Timbaland and soared musically.

2. She was a victim. None of this was her fault. And it doesn’t take away from what she did for R&B music.


But this docuseries definitely did prove how all the adults around her were TRASH and enabling. That includes her parents. Smh
